FAQ

1. General questions on JASIS

  • Q1-1
  • What are the concepts of JASIS?
  • A1-1
  • JASIS is an exhibition co-organized by Japan Analytical Instruments Manufacturers' Association and Japan Scientific Instruments Association. The main purpose of JASIS is to provide a variety of information for visitors’ daily business needs so it is not positioned simply as a showcase where devices and equipment are displayed, but rather as a comprehensive exhibition in the specialized field of analytical and scientific instruments. JASIS also has been focusing on an online exhibition since 2017 to create a space to connect both visitors and exhibitors at any time/any place.
JASIS operates duality onsite-online exhibitions to cover mainly three elements.
At first, JASIS plays an important role as a comprehensive exhibition where analytical instruments, measurement equipment, facilities and related products, as well as scientific instruments that support R&D, QC, and industrial technologies are showcased in a single place. From entrance to exit, the various instruments required by R&D are exhibited in a coherent manner. Introducing the various technologies and analytical instruments from components and parts to the finished products, JASIS stands as one of Asia's major exhibitions in the field of analytical science and measurement, alongside “analytica” held in Europe and “Pittcon” in the US.
Secondly, creating the opportunity for exhibitors to send out messages and share information called “New Technology Presentations” Over 250 presentations have been conducted, attracting approximately 10,000 participants.

At last, there are various lectures and seminars organized by JASIS.

    ・JASIS Topics Seminars:
Experts and specialists will give lectures and explanations related “Exploring Solutions and Pathways to Address Diverse Social Challenges” for each topic of interest in the analysis and scientific instruments industry.

・JASIS Collaboration (New plan for 2024):
A platform disseminating cutting-edge technological information through collaboration with academic societies and research institutions.

・JASIS School (New plan for 2024):
A series of know-how seminars by JASIS organizers providing an opportunity to acquire the essential analysis skills and scientific instrument operation.
As a zone that covers all three elements (exhibition, exhibitor presentations, and organizer seminars), a “JASIS Square” will be set up in the exhibition venue to provide a “platform for communication and message dissemination.”

  • Q1-2
