NMIJ conducts research and development on measurement, analysis and evaluation technologies for chemicals. NMIJ produces and distributes Certified Reference Materials with ensured reliability and international equivalence, and also provides calibration services and comprehensive database.
Highlights & Exhibit products
NMIJ develops and provides various certified reference materials (CRM) which is used to calibrate analytical instruments and to validate analytical methods. The value in our certificate is traceable to the International System of Units. NMIJ cooperates with Chemicals Evaluation and Research Institute, which is the designated calibration body, to disseminate the domestic traceability system. In the exhibition, our CRM and their traceability under Japan Calibration Service System, our reference materials and calibration services, and the contents of chemical/physical database will be introduced.
